The Home has many attractive features including a lovely patio area, beautiful bedrooms and views of the grounds and a range of luxury dining and lounge areas. The home is well integrated, highly regarded and well respected in the wider community. Overseal continues to involve itself in local community life on a regular basis.
Oveseal has been nominated for and successfully achieved many National Care Awards including awards for Nutrition and Person Centred Care. Overseal boasts a number of loyal staff who have worked at the home for a number of years. Staff are constantly encouraged to sit and chat with residents and to get to know them on a personal level and find out about their lives, interests, family and history. Overseal provides an excellent monitoring and support system for all. The owners and management are approachable and available to talk to staff, relatives and friends at all times.
The owners have purchased a great deal of new and up-to-date machinery including a new hoist, new slings, a drugs fridge, a new clothes dryer and lawn mower.
Overseal also employs a handyman, who ensures that the building is maintained to an exceptionally high standard.
Overseal has also appointed a deputy manager internally and has enrolled a number of staff members on NVQ level 3 courses in Care which will continue to enhance the high standards of care that are practised.
Overseal, is dedicated to the provision of the finest care for its residents. This is achieved through the integration of efficient administrative practices, recruiting qualified and friendly staff and following a quality assurance system focussing on a quality orientated approach. In addition, a high degree of quality awareness is developed through all staff by means of training and leadership courses.
